TEACH YOUR DONKEY TO DRIVE Wayne Lyon from Alberta Canada will join us for the seventh year to instruct us how to start our donkeys driving in a safe and understanding way. You will learn how to understand the way your donkey thinks, why one method might work better than another, and also how you, the handler, can master the art of driving. This is a fun three days! The clinic is held in the indoor arena so weather will not hinder our activities. We are limiting the number of students so that all will receive one on one instruction when needed. There will be no people on the rail to watch or interrupt during the sessions. We want you to get the full benefit of this clinic. We hope you bring your own donkey to work with, but if not we can let you borrow one of ours. Your donkey will be stalled with bedding, hay and water provided. If you wish to grain your donkey please bring your own as that is what he is use to. The session starts at 9:00 Saturday morning so you will probably wish to bring your donkey in on Friday. Lunch is provided as well as snacks at break time. Michael will again this year cook us his famous roast pork dinner that we will feast on Sunday evening. There is camping and cabins near by. The camps are large with two bedrooms, bath, living room, kitchen and porch. Often students will share a cottage. The clinic fills fast so we ask that you send your payment of $385 by March 1 to insure your attendance. Limited number accepted. Call for availabilty after March 1st. Telephone: 802-759-2665 Email: minidonk@wcvt.com We will be offering the “step up” classes for those that are already driving their donkeys. This will be held in the outdoor area. We suggest you bring a hat, sunglasses and perhaps a raincoat. If you have any questions, please ask.
